Camp willow run was fun. The climbing class was amazing! I conquered three climbing walls and half the wave! Archery was somewhat fun. The rifle part was bad because we were shooting with bee bee guns and pellet guns. The swimming class was fun too. The water was a little choppy when I swam, but it was still fun. The food was pretty good. I would recommend a week at Willow Run.

The perfect summer is a day when all the birds are out singing. The sun is fully shining; there is a nice, cool pool just waiting for someone to jump in. There are beautiful flowers and fruit trees as well as beautiful trees with colorful flowers to look at. There are little caterpillars scurrying around and amazing butterflies fluttering along. There are a few dragonflies to catch and admire. What else could describe a perfect summer day?

A few days ago, we got home from Disney. It was fun! We went on space mountain (one of my favorite rides), Goofy’s Roller coaster, Expedition Everest and a whole lot of other rides. We also were able to go to the American Idle thing in Hollywood Studios. It was pretty cool because you were able to vote and watch the singers live on the stage. Did I forget to mention Aerosmith and Tower of Terror? Those two are awesome. Oh, and the Kali River Falls in Animal Kingdom is fun! You may get soaked sometimes, but it is still fun. The Kilimajari Safari is cool. If you go around the end of April and the beginning of May, a lot of animals are out wandering around. In Hollywood Studios, the Backlot tour is fun. You get to experience a fake fire! Here’s a tip, try not to sit on the left side of the vehicle, you may get wet. the Great Movie Ride is fun too. You get attacked by a robber and you go through a whole bunch of pieces of movies including Singing in the Rain, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz, and Alien. In Epcot, Spaceship Earth is a cool ride. Mission space is awesome. I would advise green team less intense training for anyone of has never gone on before or is disturbed by spinning. The Nemo ride is cute and fun for kids. Soarin’ is truly amazing, but the line is going to be an hour long when you get there, so I would suggest getting over to Soarin’ as quick as possible and getting fastpasses before they run out. Test Track is really fun. I wouldn’t suggest taking on smaller children if they are afraid of the dark, jerking cars, or going really fast in a car without a top. There are other rides in Epcot, but they just won’t come into my mind at the moment. In Fantasy Land, Magic Kingdom there is the Peter Pan ride, It’s a Small World, The Pooh ride, and Snow White. For all of these, the lines will be long, so I suggest getting fastpasses. Snow White is a bit scarier than the others, and has a few dark places. In Tomorrow Land, there is the Speedway, the Carousel of Progress, Space Mountain (Already mentioned earlier), the Blue Line, and Buzz Lightyear. In Frontier land there is Splash Mountain (Not recommended if you don’t like drops) and Big Thunder Mountain. Big Thunder Mountain is really not scary. The back is faster than the front down hills which just means you don’t stop when you go over the hill. If you’re in the front, you go halfway down really slowly, then it lets go of the brakes. In Adventure Land, you have the Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean. There are a few not so big drops in the Pirates of the Caribbean. The Jungle Cruise is a slow, fun ride. The Haunted House is a very fun ride if you’re not afraid of the dark or a haunted house. It can get scary in some parts, but I like the ride. Disney world is the best theme park ever!

Yesterday, I visited an alligator. I astonished it. No one ever wanted to visit him. It had a temporary house in a swamp. The house was divided into four parts. The gator was so happy to have a visitor that it ran around in circles until it collided with its wall. It crashed through the wall and kept going until it was barely visible! I retrieved some wood to fix the wall while it swam back to the house. It lives in a place near a lot of cars. I hope it prospers even with the exhaust fumes from cars.

It all started when my friend wanted to subvert the president. I told her she should be subservient, but I don’t think she heard me. Then she started to contort the laws! She said she was just twisting the laws, but I said she was distorting them. She retorted that we live in a free country. I tried to avert her, but to no avail. I told her she was being very perverse. Did she listen? Noo-oo. I told her that her plan was tortuous and she finally…didn’t listen to me. So it was that day that the president met his ugly demise.

HAWAII
This report tells about Hawaii. This state is very interesting. The topics I will cover are Traditions, the People, The Land, Industry, and History.
The traditions of Hawaii are very interesting. The Hula is a beautiful Hawaiian dance with repetitive chants called mele. The Hula began as a form of worship. The next Hawaiian tradition is The Luau. The luau is known as the Hawaiian barbecue. It is normally a party. At this party, you will eat pupus (appetizers), limu (seaweed), laulaus (meat), lomi-lomi (salmon cooked with tomatoes and onions), and haupia (coconut and pineapple pudding). Lei-giving is the last Hawaiian tradition known to me. A maile lei was used as an offering to the goddess Laka, goddess of dance. Leis are given to people arriving or leaving Hawaii as a symbol of love or friendship. Leis also mark special achievements such as weddings, anniversaries, and graduations. Leis are made with flowers, leaves, shells, feathers, seeds, ivory, and animal teeth. Learning about Hawaiian traditions was my favorite part of the report.
The estimated population of Hawaii in 2008 was 1,288, 198 people. The capital city of Hawaii is Honolulu. Hawaii’s largest city is Hilo. This information was fairly easy to find.
Hawaii is right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The regions of the biggest island are North and South Kahola, Hamakua, North and South Hilo, Puna, Kau, and North and South Kona. Hawaii is not too hot and not too cold. Half of the Hawaiian year is summer and the other half is winter. In Hawaii, the temperature is 80 degrees Fahrenheit in summer and 75 degrees Fahrenheit in winter. Hawaiians get 6 inches of rain at some times, and 486 inches at other times. There is no telling when you will get how much rain.
Food is one third of Hawaii’s total annual shipments. Other major industries include clothing, stone, clay, glass products, fabricated metals, and ship building. There wasn’t much to find out about Hawaii’s industry.
I looked up a few things about Hawaii’s history. Hawaii was discovered by Polynesians who brought pigs, dogs, chickens, sweet potatoes, coconuts, bananas, and sugarcane. They were under the ruler Kamehameha I in 1810. They considered themselves under British protection. On February 10, 1843, British King Paulet demanded King Kamehameha III to give the Hawaiian Islands to the British Crown. Hawaii surrendered under protest. In 1849, the French invaded demanding full religious rights be given to Catholics. This order was only partially carried out. Because of it, the French attacked Hawaii, doing $100,000 damage. A while after that, Hawaii signed a treaty with the U.S. granting the U.S. exclusive trade rights.

Today was a pretty quick school day. For that I am glad. I changed from the Spectrum to the Jump In writing program. Jump In is actually fun (in my point of view). I still dread the the week. My dad will be coming home from his trip tomorrow, so i am looking forward to that.

If I could be named after and animal, I would want to be named after a cheetah (even though I’m more like a sloth). I would like to be named after a cheetah because I think cheetahs are cute. I like cheetahs because they are fast. I also love most wild cats because of their faces, speed, sounds, and qualities.

BAM! My friend hits a percussion instrument. I cover my ears. Those blasts seemed perennial! Those sounds absolutely permeate the air. I ask my friend to defer her lessons. I can be dilatory, but my friend just can’t, so, BAM, BAM, and BAM! OW, OW, OW! I don’t know how her ears persevere. It gives her elation. It gives me a headache. I inferred that my ears are more sensitive than hers. We always contend about her instrument. It is my intent to win at least one of those arguments.
